Abstract

The European agriculture and related mechanisation. The analysis of the European agriculture and related mechanisation must be set in a more general framework, taking into account that a new geography not only of the agricultural production but also of the agro-industrial consumptions and uses is gaining ground, while the growing economies of Asian and Latin-American Countries are standing out. In this context, the European agriculture is still representing the expression of a variety of systems the Common Agricultural Policy has gathered together but has not been able to make uniform. Despite its heterogeneous characteristics, the European agriculture as a whole will undertake an important transformation. To this end, the innovation will play a key role thanks to the responses the agricultural mechanisation will be able to give to the European Union.
