Il testo tratta della presentazione del volume Il valore della terra. Teoria e applicazioni per il dimensionamento della pianificazione territoriale avvenuta presso l’Accademia dei Georgofili il 6 dicembre 2011 e che ha visto confrontarsi sul tema delle politiche per la pianificazione territoriale e degli equilibri ambientali e territoriali che a esse si chiede di garantire in un quadro di sostenibilità, il prof. G. Maracchi, l’assessore regionale a urbanistica e territorio A. Marson e i curatori del volume C. Perrone e I. Zetti. In queste pagine vengono tratteggiati i temi affrontati nella presentazione e nel dibattito successivo, seguendo il filo centrale del discorso che i due discussant e i curatori hanno espresso e tracciandone una sintesi più che riportando le singole posizioni. In un secondo paragrafo poi si evidenzia come nel volume i temi che sono emersi nel dibattito vengono affrontati dai vari autori, sempre in un’ottica fortemente interdisciplinare che ha visto confrontarsi studiosi di estrazioni differenti, dalle scienze ambientali all’economia all’urbanistica, in un dibattito serrato e produttivo
The article is a report of the public presentation of the book: The value of the land. Theory and practice about the dimensioning in the territorial planning that took place in the Academy, the six of December 2011. In this occasion Prof. G. Maracchi, the regional councillor for Urban and Territorial Planning A. Marson and the editors of the book C. Perrone and I. Zetti, discussed about public policies for the urban planning and the environmental and territorial stability that those policies are called to preserve in a framework of sustainability. This text outlines the topics emerged in the presentation and in the following debate, summing up the main line of the speeches of the two discussant and of the editors, trying to synthesise the different opinion, more than to report them separately. The second paragraph finally explains how the topics emerged in the debate find some answer in the book, thanks to the papers of the different authors that have worked with a strong inter-disciplinary approach, confronting their opinions starting from their specific point of view (from natural science, to economy, to urban planning) in a very productive debate.
