Il fondo archivistico di Giuseppe Tassinari, donato dalla famiglia alla prestigiosa Accademia dei Georgofili, è stato ufficialmente presentato nella Pubblica Adunanza del 16 dicembre 2010, giorno in cui ricorre il 119° anniversario della nascita (Perugia, 16 dicembre 1891 – Salò, 21 dicembre 1944). Nella relazione, Monica Franchi presenta una sintetica nota biografica in cui vengono ripercorse le tappe salienti della carriera universitaria e politica di Giuseppe Tassinari: da un lato, il Tassinari studioso ed accademico (molto ampio il numero delle sue pubblicazioni), dall’altro l’uomo pubblico, il politico, iscritto al PNF sin dal 1922, al quale vennero assegnate importanti cariche politiche (ministro dell’Agricoltura dal 31 ottobre 1939 al 26 dicembre 1941). Nel suo complesso, il fondo si articola attorno ai seguenti argomenti: Attività scientifica – Studio e formazione Confagricoltura Bonifica Politica alimentare nella II guerra mondiale Rapporti scientifici con la Germania Corrispondenza Carte private: nomine e onorificenze, minute di viaggio, diari ecc. Gli argomenti del fondo sono stati presentati al pubblico con l’ausilio del programma multimediale Power Point che consente di mostrare slide in sequenza lineare con le immagini dei documenti d’archivio digitalizzati.
The archival collection of Joseph Tassinari, donated by the family to the prestigious Academy of Georgofili, was officially presented on the occasion of the Public Assembly of December 16, 2010, the day that marks the 119th anniversary of the birth (Perugia, December 16, 1891 – Salò, December 21, 1944). In the report, Monica Franchi presents a brief biographical note in which the key stages of Giuseppe Tassinari university and political career are sketched out. On one hand, Tassinari is introduced as academic professor with his very large number of publications. On the other hand, Tassinari is the public man, the politician, who joined the Fascist Party since 1922 and to whom major political offices were assigned (i.e. Minister of Agriculture from 31 October 1939-26 December 1941). As a whole, all the documents may concern the following topics: Scientific Research - Study and Training Confagricoltura Reclaiming and Draining Food Policy in World War II Scientific Relations with Germany Correspondence Private Papers: nominations and awards, minutes of travel, diaries and so on These items of the collection have been explained with the help of the multimedia program PowerPoint that allows to show slides to the public in a linear sequence with the digitized images of the archival documents.
